Directions: Research each of the alphabetized list of terms below and do the following:

1. Create ABC Lists of World History Terms by correctly copying/pasting each of the terms under the correct Unit of 

Instruction that the term belongs to. 

For Example if you had a Unit of Instruction titled “Unit 1 Fruit” which of the following terms would you copy/paste

2. Research terms to determine where to place term by doing the following:



Google the term to find information about the time period the term may belong to or about any information

HINT – Nearly all of the terms may be found in the Pdfs that were assigned for Unit 2 through Unit 9 so IF 

you have read/highlighted Key Terms or Phrases [per instructions] and read through each Pdf then you may

have highlighted/underlined many of these terms. 

3. Highlight 3 terms that you believe WERE THE MOST SIGNIFICANT TERMS for each Unit of Instruction Alphabetized

List – must have 24 highlighted terms in total. 

4. Choose ONE UNIT INSTRUCTION – from either Unit 2, Unit 3, Unit 4, or Unit 5 to WRITE AN ORIGINAL PARAGRAPH

OF NO LESS THAN 7 SENTENCES AND NO MORE THAN 10 SENTENCES.

5. Explain why the 3 terms you choose were the most significant terms for that Unit of Instruction – MUST HIGHLIGHT

THE 3 TERMS EACH TIME IN THE PARAGRAPH. 

For Example – I choose the following 3 terms – 9/11, Coronavirus, Black Lives Matter from Unit 10 and write the

following paragraph.

I believe the terms 9/11, Coronavirus, Black Lives Matter were the most significant terms from Unit 10.  The first

significant event of the 21

 century was the terrorist attack on 9/11.  These terrorists’ attacks led to the most lives lost

on American soil from a terrorist attack as well as several wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The Coronavirus is also another

significant event because this pandemic has killed more Americans since the Spanish Flu of 1918.  The Coronavirus has

also caused high unemployment and led to the closure of many businesses. The last term – Black Lives Matter –

represents a protest/social movement against injustices experienced by black citizens at the hands of the police that was

triggered by the horrific murder of George Floyd seen on video.  This protest/social movement has led to social unrest

not seen since the Rodney King riots of the 1990s.  The goal of the movement is to reform police practices so that all

citizens will be treated equally.

term in the paragraph. MUST WRITE A TOTAL OF TWO PARAGRAPHS – one paragraph from the first nine weeks and one
